i'm alive {an update}

I'm alive. I promise. Just feeling a little overwhelmed lately. Basketball for two boys. Indoor lacrosse for another. Applying for a new job (getting the new job-same company-new role/brand). Teaching Master Club on Wednesdays at church. Being a wife and mother. Working full time.
It all just got to be a little much. So I stepped back from some things. Blogging, scrapbooking, social media. I just needed a little break. I'm slowly getting back in the flow. Re-organized my craft room. I'm beginning to feel creative again.
I've decided not to worry about how far behind I am on Project Life. I've kept up with my Oh Life entries, so I can always go back and catch up if I feel the need. Right now, though, I want to create. Some layouts. Some mini albums. Some cards. I want to cut patterned paper, figure out where to place my photos and journaling, and CREATE.
Life is good.
What have you been up to?
Be back soon. I promise not to be gone so long this time.

  1. glad to see you back!! i am with you--i have been feeling VERY run down and just stressed!! way too much on my plate-- why is it that work just gets in the way of everything- LOL!!!! 2. Hey there! It happens to the best of us :) Glad to hear you're feeling creative again and congrats on the new/same job ;) Don't worry about PL. As long as you have your journaling and even a few photos, you can throw it together in no time!!

  3. So glad to see you back....and I know exactly how you have been feeling. I have been doing a lot more reading and a lot less writing lately. Just so much going on! I just hope that I still have readers by the time I regroup. Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Welcome back!
    I know the feeling from time to time :)
    It really can get overwhelming.
    I find I actually need blog breaks quite frequently these days for whatever reason.

  5. Yay! I'm glad to see you are back!

    Sometimes you just need a break. I get really overwhelmed sometimes too.

    I hope you are enjoying your new job! That is really exciting!!
